- 前半部分夺嫡戏好看。焦晃的康熙，比陈道明的康熙还好。后半部分愣是把雍正拍成了一朵花，苦菜花。杜志国的年羹尧演得好，最好就好在嘴角那一抹似笑非笑。
- 是好看的！原著的年代感、氛围感、命运感全都给拍出来了！！果然作者性强的小说也需要作者性强的导演，去除东北味反而更普世。同时也很能理解没看过原著又抱着“迷雾剧场”来看剧的人的茫然。PS：看完无比怀念童年，尤其春节前，热泪盈眶……
