- 近年来台剧惯常的阴暗路数的故事，本以为会拨云见日，看到最后却是个这么悲怆的反转。枉死成为废死的助力，这实在是一种讽刺啊。
- 海滨命案，渔业，原住民，外劳，废死，公投。结局让人想到《大卫·戈尔的一生》，但一个是殉道，另一个有些模棱两可。讽刺还是警示？其实做成彻底的讽刺更妙一点，可能作者更想表达自己的立场吧。
