- 前二十集几近超神，后十集几乎烂尾。虽未曾在林区生活，但同样的乡音，同样的土地，近似的遭遇，道尽东北人的悲欢喜乐，也勾起了异乡游子的思念。因为不可以说的原因，电视剧本身有点遗憾，但剧里人情味，前半部的写实，几个老演员的表演，包括国民媳妇，都是值得一看的作品
- 唯一不理解的一点，养活那么多孩子，还供出来俩大学生，孩子学费生活费，一大家人吃喝拉撒……一直说生活艰难，却没有表现如何艰难，怎么克服。顿顿还是饺子炖鹅大鱼大肉的，实在让人不太信服。
