- 补标。童年回忆，在深圳卫视和安徽卫视都看过。放在王晶参与编导和制作的电视剧项目中应该算是大投资了，集齐中港台三地当红演员，并在无锡影视基地取景。与同年的《八大豪侠》类似，本作实质上是个借用古代历史作为故事背景（刘松仁饰演的宁王朱无视所发动的政变对应朱宸濠之乱，而仓田保昭出演的柳生但马守应该指的是德川幕府的剑术教练柳生宗矩，汤镇业的万三千自然是指沈万三了）的奇幻武侠剧。但本作节奏相对紧凑，各条线之间捏合得也更好，只是因为缺乏武侠原著支撑导致各个门派间武力体系有点混乱。对演员角色功能分配也算是物尽其用：郭晋安和陈怡蓉负责搞笑情侣档（但前者比后者大15岁），而叶璇和霍建华则是唯美的情爱纠葛（上官海棠无疑是叶璇在内地打响名号的角色）。高圆圆柳生飘絮角色应该是王晶看过她03年演周芷若后为她量身定做的。
