- 康洪雷导演认为创作最重要的是“愤怒感”，比起故事性，人物更重要。随口能背一段鲁迅，口语描述也很动人，为电视剧做田野调查路过远征军的坟，形容松涛在哀鸣。虽然很擅长男性题材却希望有一天拍女性视角的戏。感觉他片场一定骂人超凶，我小时候还挺爱看《激情燃烧的岁月》的。作为不为大众感兴趣的、专注军旅题材的导演，康洪雷演讲给人的惊喜特别多。
- 这部剧越看到后面，越觉得军队是某种塔，隔开了外界，其中的人不用考虑很多，可以保持纯洁和坚定。
