- 双男主模式+犯罪心理学的运用+不幸原生家庭出身的连环杀手，这些悬疑破案的范式在欧美剧中很常见，国产剧涉足这些领域实属稚嫩水准，可看性还是有的：1、两个年代的时代气氛对比，完成度较高；2、丝毫不觉得这么多“烟雾弹”是多余的，相反倒觉得是本剧最大亮点，那些与案子真相并无直接关联的人们，各自拥有的哀喜人生，也绽放着各自的光华，结尾人群鞠躬为这尘封的十三载画上句号；3、双陈组合。但我并不喜欢这类将警察个人私事融入到破案中的剧情模式，容易造成编剧上的偷懒——因为熟悉而便利（身边亲友的变化总能及时察觉），因为情感而干扰理智（造成无谓的煽情）。
