- 看得出来，编剧非常想把基层的一些关于公安民警鸡毛蒜皮的小事表现出来以显得基于生活。但是这样矛盾冲突就不多了，观众还是更喜欢有戏剧冲突、有看点的，这样拍成剧才好看，看了两集比较无聊。
- 《警察荣誉》是典型的类型剧，却在传统硬桥硬马的警察剧基础上，开辟了一条生活化的创新之路。它又是一部生活剧，透过日常的琐细工作，描摹出基层民警的生活质感。既有风趣幽默的妙趣，也有人道主义之关怀。“市‘警’烟火气，最抚凡人心”。诚如这部剧的slogan所言，它拍出了真正的人间烟火。
