- 《红楼梦》绝对是中国影视化改编难度最大的文学作品，当时筹拍时就遭到了许多反对。甚至有人极端的说《红楼梦》别说改电视剧了，连一个标点符号都不能改。其在国人心目中的地位和分量可想而知。87版《红楼梦》虽然没做到尽善尽美，但做到了精益求精，成为国剧界的经典和典范。
- 从初中到大学，几乎每个暑假都会看电视重播，甚至对着原著，一个字一个字校对过去，每个场景都活生生印在脑海，哭掉多少眼泪！最满意对续书80回后的更改，比较接近符合理想的红楼结局（比较聪明地将后面内容压缩到短短几集），那可真是白茫茫大地真干净，那才是曹翁毕生追求的万艳同哭啊！
