- 内容四星，有很多直白地强行点题的镜头扣分，但大陆片光是写出这种社会现实，关注这种社会现实，表达这种社会现实，就已经是值得鼓励的重大进步了。
- 从主旋律角度看，剧拍得不错。有大历史，也有小细节。尤其是对动物意象的使用，譬如蚂蚁、青蛙，很生动，也借此丰富了角色。在国产剧里，也属罕见。陈独秀与其子，与李大钊的冲突，也为后续的命运轨迹、救国主张的分野埋下了伏笔。于和伟的痞子精英演得可以。
