- 一部没有女人的剧（只记得有一场开会的戏看到过一个女性群演）。三段式，不管是在荒原上看守输油管道的红三连二排五班造路，在钢七年转出333个转体，还是在A大队的受挫，人物塑造特别真实。阿甘不是所有人都能做的。
- 满分五分，前半段六分，后半段三分。702团到A大队是明显分界。中间有几集，每集都哭瞎。后面有些集，集集快进。当年看到钢七连解散太难过就弃了，这次决定看完，结果发现之前的选择才是正确的。最后，许三多身上有珍贵闪亮的地方，但不妨碍我讨厌死这个人。
