- 水墨背景，古风配乐，独特绘柄（有点《大神传》的味道），爆炸打斗场景（这个真是非常敬佩，有写实系近身格斗、仿《一拳超人》那种超规模对轰、中村丰式黑白切图等等，可谓博采众长又独树一帜，很过瘾）。设定合格，妖怪以嗔痴贪三毒携山海经诸兽，五行分金木水火土类似五岳门派，人间界又以七兄弟所在村落集结，三股势力共夺小麒麟，是比较王道的玄幻设置，世界观足够宏大。遗憾的地方当然也有，叙述与细节刻画还可更凝练，一个古风偏严肃的故事，苏小安前期表情包太多、一些轻松桥段偏现代感，其实没必要。日常对白还可再减，以动作神态取代就好。另外，开场十分钟出6、7个人名，每集都有4、5个新角色，这种急切的展开对观众是不太友好的。感觉要更接近武侠的意境就最好，又突然感悟武侠其实和牛仔颇有共通处。扬长避短，未来可期。
