- As an faithful adaptation of Kruczkowski's work, this movie works fine. Most of the time it succeeds in avoiding the static, theatrical feeling of the play. Ford was acknowledged master of the spectacle, and it shows here. Some of the scenes are impressive. - 体会到了国产古装经典剧的超高魅力。每一个人物都有血有肉，人人经历着封建王朝下的种种残酷和困境，人人如走钢丝般活着，围绕权力、利益、生死、欲望、理想不停地斗争着。嘉靖聪明自私，海瑞清廉刚直，群臣斡旋斗争，宦官狐假虎威。搭配《明朝那些事儿》看，深感制度弊病的影响太大，一个糟糕的制度只会裹挟着每个人夹缝中生存，明君贤臣终究无法避免制度上的终极弊端。人类文明的发展建立在社会制度的不断改进完善，所以道路问题真的不能错。
- 上海封控期间看的，当时觉得我看的时间真是“恰到好处”。封控结束后，我发现这部剧无论什么时候看都是恰到好处的。
